Primorje-Gorski Kotar County in the west Croatian, 3582 km ² of land area. It covers an area of the river, north-eastern part of the Istrian Peninsula, the Kvarner islands, the Croatian coast and Gorski Kotar. It is based Rijeka, the third largest Croatian city. Primorje-Gorski Kotar County consists of 14 cities, 21 municipalities and 536 villages within cities and municipalities (see). Region 1065 has a long coastline. The highest peak is Bjelolasica-Tower (1,534 m.), the highest village Begovo Razdolje, at an altitude of 1060 m.
